During the symposium “Contributions to the Early Childhood Agenda 2024-2030,” organized by Early Institute and specialists in early childhood rescue actions in Mexico, the participation of Mtra. Elizabeth Hoyos Loya was highlighted, presenting on behalf of the Maternal-Child Observatory of the Ibero-American University.

Ms. Hoyos Loya emphasized the urgent need for the public health sector to focus on improving nutritional care for pregnant women and children from early childhood. She argued that diseases and health issues in adulthood have their roots in the early stages of life and are influenced by nutritional quality.

Under the title “Public Policy Recommendations for the Prevention and Control of Child Malnutrition in Mexico,” Mtra.
